Private Events

Bookings for any private functions, such as Halloween to Christmas parties and cooperate functions for both adults and children. Basic rate starts from £120 for minimum 2 hours booking. £40 for any additional time at an hourly rate.

Children's Birthday Parties

Basic rate is starting from £70 for first 90 minutes (1 hr 30mins) for a party of 10 children or under. This is the minimum booking.

Public Events

I am available to attend public events, generally participants will be charged £5 per head. In most cases I will require a table and two chairs to be provided for the event.

Charity Events

It is a very popular demand and unfortunately I cannot possibly do all of them for free, so I am happy to attend any fundraising event at a discount price at £40 for the first hour, and £20 for any additional time by hourly rate. Charities often get a sponsor to cover this cost or you can charge participants a fee to take part to cover this costs as well as raise money for the charity.

How do I work?

My work in steps:
    • 1. BOOKING

    You can book via our contact form here and request a date and time you wish to book for. For a quicker booking, it will help if you include what type of party it is and the party size. A non-refundable booking fee of £20 will be charged to confirm any booking and it is deducted to the final fee. We take both credit/debit card payment via Stripe and via PayPal. Booking fee is not applicable to public events such as festivals where participants are being charged instead.

    2. CHOOSE A DESIGN

    Participants will generally choose a design or theme at my table before we proceed. I am also happy to be requested to do more elaborate designs if communicate prior bookings for special parties.

    3. PREPING

    In most cases for children's parties and public events, face painting will be applied straight ahead. But in the case of special theme that requires special make up, I might apply vaseline for lips or moisturising lotion to protect your skin before applying make up. If you have very sensitive skin, it is best that you provide the face painting paints or skin care lotion that you know your skin is not reacting to it.

    • 4. FACE PAINTING

    For children's party, face painting usually lasts about 10-15 minutes depending on how complicate the chosen design is. For more elaborate face painting, it could take more than 20 minutes per person. It is generally depending on the design. If you are a party organiser for a special themed party, please communicate this upon booking then you will able to work out how long you would need to book for depending on your party size.

    Face Painting Paints

    I use different brands but overall they are all waterbase paints, vegan and against animal testing. I always test the paint on myself first before applying on clients.

    I use a variety of make up brushes. For finer details I often use lips brush or eyeliner brushes. For any make up on the lips I always use disposable lip brushes and limit to one-person use for hygiene reason. I would also use disposable make-up sponges for wider area of painting. All brushes are washed in between the next person with antibacterial make-up brushes cleanser.

    For elaborate themed parties or designs, I offer sparkles, "tattoo" transfer stickers for scars, SFX Make-up Wax for realistic scars or glow-in-the-dark paint. This is upon requests only and has an additional fees charged for using these materials.
